The MATTRA Group is among the world’s leading companies in the candle industry, producing several million products a year. The MATTRA Group is a leading European manufacturer of paraffin, oil, long-burning, eco-oil, bio-paraffin, oil-paraffin, candle, recycling, candles, plastic, bottle and tube packaging. Products manufactured in our plants find their customers throughout Europe. Our assortment includes about 500 types and types of products.

The MATTRA Group combines the good traditions of the candle industry in Poland and innovative technological solutions, implemented at the forefront of the CEO, the main technologist of chemical processes, a graduate of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology. The MATTRA Group currently includes several entities responsible for the distribution of our products throughout Europe, including two production plants.

MATTRA Group was established on December 1, 2012, as an industrial enterprise, locating its production in two provinces in Poland, under the watchful eye of a qualified engineering team. The logistics center is located in the Tłuchowo commune (Poland), the Customer Service Office is located in Bydgoszcz (Poland), and the group’s headquarters is in Warsaw.

Candles inserts

As a distributor, MATTRA offers a wide range of high-quality oil and paraffin candle inserts in various sizes, meeting diverse customer needs at competitive prices. The paraffin inserts are made from paraffin with high melting points, making them particularly recommended for the summer period. Additionally, their shape allows free airflow to the flame, accelerating the burning process while facilitating proper combustion at high temperatures. The oil inserts are characterized by an extended burning time due to the addition of oil compositions, which prolong the burning process, resulting in significantly longer burning times for oil inserts of the same size and weight. However, in high temperatures and strong sunlight, we suggest choosing paraffin inserts.

Candles

MATTRA offers luxurious candles, including scented glass candles, MATTRA Wood candles with wooden wicks, soy candles, pillar candles, taper candles, and tealights, all hand-crafted to enhance any interior with their aromatic scents and decorative appeal, making them perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere and an excellent gift for lovers of cozy spaces.

Paraffin wax

In our offer, we have paraffin available in slabs, granules, as well as liquid paraffin prepared for the customer in ordered proportions. The paraffin is white, odorless, and typically has an oil content below 1% for refined paraffin and up to 10% oil content for granules. The melting point range of our paraffin is from 54°C to 64°C and it is available in slab, granule, and liquid forms. Paraffin provides excellent protection and water barrier properties, making it ideal for coating cardboard and paper, especially in the food industry. It is also intended for the production of candles, candle inserts, and lanterns.

Soy wax

As a distributor, MATTRA offers soy wax as part of its product range. We provide high-quality soy wax suitable for various applications, ensuring a reliable and eco-friendly option for candle making and other uses. Soy wax is made from hydrogenated soybean oil. It is the main raw material for making craft candles, essential oils, and scented candles. Soy wax is widely used in the candle, crayon, wax paper, cosmetics, and medical industries.

Coconut wax

Coconut wax is a natural and eco-friendly wax produced from coconut oil. As a distributor, we provide high-quality coconut wax, ideal for various applications, ensuring an eco-friendly and versatile option for candle making and other uses. Coconut wax has a low melting point, is biodegradable, and free from harmful toxins, making it a safer alternative to traditional waxes.

Palm wax

Palm wax offered by the distributor MATTRA is a type of vegetable wax and an important non-petroleum wax. It is an excellent raw material for candle production. Such candles burn smokeless, odorless, and non-toxic.

Bee wax

Beeswax offered by the distributor MATTRA is produced by bees in the form of tiny scales that are secreted from segments on the underside of the abdomen. To stimulate the production of beeswax, bees gorge themselves on honey or sugar syrup and cluster together to raise the temperature of the hive. To produce one pound of wax, bees need to consume approximately ten pounds of honey.
